Caroline Sherwood moved to Cheltenham in 2013 almost (it seemed at the time) by accident. She later discovered ancestral relations going back to Moreton-in-Marsh. Kenneth Horne, of 1960s radio (Round the Horne), turned out to be her second cousin once removed, and a maternal great grandfather, Rev. John More, was a Presbyterian Minister in Cheltenham for 20 years in the 19th century. He served the poor and disadvantaged of the town, wrote frequently to The Cheltenham Examiner and raised the funds to build St Andrew’s Church in Montpellier.

Caroline is the founder of Cheltenham Fruit Loop, which links people with surplus fruit with those who want some, and co-founder of Clean Air Cheltenham. She is now in the process of working with others to establish Cheltenham as an international Planetary City of Light.

Caroline is the author of three books and contributed chapters to two others as well as having many articles under her belt. She also taught meditation and spiritual life skills for 40 years, and her spiritual memoir, Following a Thread of Gold, was published by Gloucestershire publishers, Crumps Barn Studio.

I live at the bottom of famous hill called coopers hill where people run down it chasing cheese!
I like to wander the Gloucestershire countryside with my poochie Stan, inspired by the nature around me. Such as the weird and wonderful shapes of the trees, the mosses and mushrooms that grow in the damp and the wonderful wildlife that live in the woodland.

My designs are either created in watercolours or acrylics but i also like to play around with found surfaces such as old maps, music books, pretty papers to make collaged paintings.

animal totem art

My name is Kelly I like anything weird and wonderful. I love the wisdom our animals bring us and the inspiration they can share so I combine graphic art with inspirational words, from animal totems to messages of inspiration for anyone suffering with mental health issues like depression. I hope you enjoy. I live in the city centre of Gloucester.
